Ilocos Sur is a beautiful Province located in the northern of Luzon. Rich in culture that represents the ancient spanish and filipino heritage. the locals conceived festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they call it 'kannawidan festival'.In the opening day, a mass is usually held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. And the day after that will be the festival dances, there are carnivals, souvenir and foods shops, and even concerts and more.
I am proud to be a bigueno and having this kinds of festivals is a blessing and it makes our heart warm.
